Description

by Li'l Richard And The Polka All Stars

Richard Towalski was born in Chicago, on December 6, 1942. He began his musical career at the early age of 10, performing for dances private parties, and night clubs.

At the age of 12 he started his own radio show on WOPA and is now in this 42nd year of broadcasting. Currently the Li'l Richard Polka shows are featured on Sunday mornings on 2 stations, WSBC and WNDZ.

Richard's biggest thrill was receiving a proclamation as the POLKA GENERAL OF CHICAGO on November 9, 1969, from the Mayor of Chicago, the late Richard J. Daley.

This album is dedicated to Tony Discepolo, Casey and Virginia Laskowski, and Bill and Millie Kosycarz who were all very instrumental in furthering Richard's musical career.
