No other mushroom is the same.  These are whole mushroom slices.  These are Category 1 Borowiki (Boletus Edulis) forest mushrooms.
Be aware when purchasing Polish dried mushrooms that they are graded for quality by category number.  The finest quality are Category 1 and that is the only kind we stock.

  • How to Store: If you are not planning on consuming them right away keep dried borowiki in an airtight container in a cool, dark place like the refrigerator. Stored properly your mushrooms can be used for at least a year.

I know they are quite expensive, but don't bother making soup if you aren't going to use these mushrooms.  They enhance the flavor like nothing else will!!!
