Whilst the wartime Polish persecution by Nazi Germany is amply recorded, less well known is the pattern of Soviet brutality and threat inflicted on the Polish nation and its people during the course of the Second World War. This story is intended to record one result on a tragic scale, of this inhumanity, in which Britain and its Western Allies played an indisputably conscious part. An excellent introduction to the events that lead to the Polish exodus from the Soviet Union under the leadership of General Anders.
