| This album gives a brief historical overview of the Polish Air Force in exile during World War II. Our goal was to describe all aspects of air force operations, both at the front line, and behind the lines. Apart from combat units, we have also presented various auxiliary services, which - although remaining in the background - were necessary for correct functioning of the entire military machine. We hope that this work will provide general information to those whose knowledge of the subject is limited, but it can also reveal episodes that even the experts were ignorant of. |
