Legend of Poland Series
We have looked far and wide for original Polish legends in English and we have finally found a collection from Krakow. What caught our eye (besides the stories) are the lovely color illustrations in a medieval format.
As the legend goes, the two towers of St. Mary's Church in Cracow were constructed by two brothers competing to be the best. This tale answers the question why the towers not the same height. |
