Each box contains eight triangular shaped wafers composed of 4 wafers with 3 layers of chocolate carmel filling. The name of these wafer treats is Pischinerro.
The name comes from its creator – Oskar Pischinger – a Viennese baker. Oskar Pischinger created a truly addictive dessert. It was so phenomenal that soon it settled in all the Galician cake shops and cafés for good, finally reaching Cracow, too. This delicious treat quickly went down well with Cracovians and became their favorite dessert.
