An album containing reprints of 106 archival picture postcards presenting the region`s capital -the town of Jelenia Gora, its vicinity and the Karkonosze Mountains. Postcards were selected from among thousands held in the collection of the Town Public Library in Jelenia Gora. Postcard descriptions relate to the presented objects and to the town`s and region`s history. Presented postcards were originally issued between the early 20th century and the 1930s. The album is foreworded by Marcin Zawila -a historian of Jelenia Gora and the Director of the Town Public Library.
