This colorful costume is from the region around the city of Kielce in southeastern part of Poland which was part of the greater Malopolska (Little Poland) region. These dolls are clothed in authentic regional folk costumes, as certified by the Polish Ministry of Culture. These traditional Polish dolls are completely handmade to our specifications. Unlike their counterparts in Poland there are no plastic parts in our dolls. We insist that they continue to be made with 100% all natural materials of cloth and paper-mache. Please note that the clothing colors of this doll can vary greatly. Pictured are 3 examples of the different colors.
