Way back in the summer of "69, when I was eleven years old, my parents and I went to Chicago for the first time. The missions were to get a concertina and meet the "concertina master," my idol, Casey "Fingers" Siewierski. Both missions were successfully completed. What a thrill it was to meet Casey and become friends. Unfortunately, distance prevented me from taking "steady lessons" from Casey, but he always taught me what "to" and "not" to do. A year later, Casey helped me to get a custom-built Star concertina. He also wrote original songs for me to record my very first album! Two years later, he allowed me to do an album together with him. What an honor! To make this even more special, Eddie Blazonczyk kept a snappy beat on drums! All polka fans wish Edziu the best of health. "Chocholow Village Polka" is dedicated to him. Now after thirty five years, here are the songs from those first two albums. Even though Casey is gone, his music will live forever. Thanks Buddy! Jersey Polka Richie
