This is a very handsome beer mug! What a great gift for any occasion! A three-color direct print is permanently fired on the stein body. On the both sides are the Polish white & red flags. A pewter appliqué is in the front of the stein, prominently displaying the word POLAND and the Polish Eagle beneath it. On the lid is a symmetric pattern of oak leaves, acorns and the word POLAND visible in all four directions.
The eagle is an important symbol of the Polish spirit, coming from the legend of Lech and Gniezno. It represents the strong will to survive and is present on many Polish items. The story is available in several of the books we carry, please send a note and we will let you know the titles!
