The Downtown Sound has been together for over 25 years. They specialize in performing traditional Polish-style polka music with vocals in both English and Polish. Additionally, they can perform a variety of well-known cover tunes that appeal to a wide range of age groups. Everything from “In the Mood” to the “Electric Slide”.
The Downtown Sound has produced 3 recordings over their history highlighting their abilities in the Polka genre. They have traveled around the U.S. performing in 12 different states. In 2004 they appeared in Las Vegas at the Stardust Hotel as part of the “Polkapalooza” Tour.
