The folk music ensemble Borowianka is based in Wilno, Lithuania.  This 20 member group is composed of 16 singers and 4 musicians.  There are still a large number of Poles living in Lithuania who continue to maintain their culture and heritage despite attempts to suppress them by official Lithuanian policy.     Borowianka is representative of that Polish minority who have effectively blocked those efforts.
