Biennial and Perennial seeds from Poland. USA shipping only. A perennial plant. It grows to a height of 2 meters. A spice plant, both fresh and dried. Fresh leaves are added to soups, sauces and minced meat. Dried rhizomes are suitable for stews, tripe, poultry and lamb. In addition, it improves the digestive tract and increases the appetite. Sowing seeds from April under covers or in May-June directly into the ground. At 18-20 ° C, emergence takes place after 2-3 weeks. Permanently plant them in June-July at a distance of 60x60 cm. LOVAGE KURPIE STYLE (lubczyk po kurpiowska): Similar to mustard greens, lovage grew wild in the poor Kurpie region and was widely eaten in the lean period before the new harvest was in. Cook 1 lb pork ribs in 7 c water until meat comes away from bone (skimming off scum until no more forms). Remove ribs from pot and set aside. In pork stock cook 1 lb barley until tender. Rinse lovage in as many waters as need until water is no longer green in color. Drain, dry, chop lovage, add to barley and cook 10 minutes. Salt & pepper to taste and serve with the ribs.
Roślina wieloletnia. Wyrasta do wysokości 2 m. Roślina przyprawowa, zarówno w świeżej postaci, jak i suszona. Świeże liście dodaje się do zup, sosów i mielonego mięsa. Zasuszone kłącza nadają się do gulaszu, flaków, drobiu i baraniny. Oprócz tego poprawia pracę przewodu pokarmowego, wzmaga apetyt. Siew nasion od kwietnia pod osłonami lub w maju-czerwcu wprost do gruntu. W temp. 18-20°C wschody następują po 2-3 tygodniach. Na miejsce stałe wysadzać w czerwcu-lipcu w rozstawie 60x60 cm.
