These dolls are perfect, clothed in authentic regional folk costumes, as certified by the Polish Ministry of Culture. These traditional Polish dolls are completely handmade. Notice the fine attention to detail and workmanship.  
In Cracow each year in December there is a competition to build the finest szopka (Christmas creche). People come from miles around to carry and submit their entries.  Our contestant is dressed in the traditional Cracow folk costume and since most of the szopki makers are in fact men, our doll is especially representative of reality.
