This volume is devoted to the musical traditions of Poles living abroad who settled in Romanian and Ukrainian Bukowina and in Ukraine (the area of Zhitomir) as well as those expelled to Kazakhstan. The research and recordings were completed in 1995 - 96 and are absolutely fascinating. The enclosed Polish/English booklet is quite detailed and illustrated as well.
