This recording featuring the Three Polish Tenors, was inspired by the popularity and success of the world-renowned original Three Tenors as was as that of the equally famous Three Irish Tenors.  Following a similar style of presentation, this album combines the voices and vocal harmonies of three men, both talented and experienced when it comes to singing well-known Polish songs.  Accompanying the three vocalists is a group of veteran musicians who were selected for their keen knowledge and feeling of the music, as well as for their fine playing abilities.

One way in which this album differs from those of "the other" tenors is the origin of the music itself.  Don't look for any light opera pieces or semi-classical art songs among these selections.  What this album does contain is a collection of familiar Polish folk tunes that were carried in the hearts of the many Polish immigrants who arrived in the United States in the latter years of the 19th and early 20th centuries.  Songs that have withstood the test of time, songs that are still heard today at celebrations and getherings in the great U.S. population centers wherever Poles have settled, whether it be Chicago, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Buffalo or other such locations.  Songs that may well bring a smile to your face or perhaps a tear to your eye as a certain melody brings to mind a special time, a special place, or a special someone.
