Legends of Poland Series
We have looked far and wide for original Polish legends in English and we have finally found a collection from Krakow. What caught our eye (besides the stories) are the lovely color illustrations in a medieval format.
Jacob finds the Golden Duck who reward him with riches but it is a beggar that reminds him that true treasure in not enchanted gold but a generous spirit and hard work.
