Sunflower Seeds - Slonecznik - Helianthus annuus. Imported from Poland. Variety especially recommended to grow due to tasty, rich in nutrients seeds. Ornamental, tall plants are an excellent protection against the wind. If I am correct, the grid means: Plant in June, harvest in August - September. Growing this specie is recommended because of its tasty and nutrient rich seeds. It can be a delicious snack or topping on your favoite dish. Seeds can be eaten raw or roasted. Tall, very decorative plants can be perfect to create a barrier between you and your neighbors or as a barrier against the wind. The heads will be ready to harvest, when the back of the head has become yellow. If birds or other pests are attacking your Sunflower heads, you can cut the heads and hang them in your garage to dry.
