Stasiek Wielanek and Ela Szaniewska combined the first sounds (and letters) of their first names into STELA and their voices sound even better together. They both have great musical feeling.  Their interpretations are dynamic and full of fire, yet lyrical.
Before World War II tango was the most popular rhythm and dance.  We still remember beautiful tangos of that era. DUET STELA recalls the most famous Polish tangos, such as To Ostatnia Niedziela and Chryzantemy Zlociste plus some worldwide favorites like Santa Madonna and I Know You'll Tell Me No.
Ela and Stasiek have absolute feeling of the phrase and rhythm.  Their recordings are like diamonds: clear, perfectly cut and polished.  The lyrics of their hits may sound a little outdated now, but the singers do not mock them, rather admire the old fashioned charm.
