Small brown folk angel with accordion, hand-carved and painted by carver Maciej Manowiecki.  The artist is known for his unique, whimsical style.  His work can be characterized by the use of unconfined form, vibrant color, and lightness of style which brings each piece to life.  He draws inspiration from the surrounding world of nature which is the main theme of his work, namely plants, animals, birds, fish. The indirect impulse of his artistic work, on the other hand, is folk sculpture, especially regional and sacral.
