This beeswax candle is hand made by the residents of Dom Teczowy, a home for the mentally impaired located in Sopot, Poland. Your purchase helps to support the Dom Teczowy Foundation that provides the care for the residents. In Poland there are no palm trees so for Palm Sunday Poles made their own very colorful versions from dried flowers and colorful plants. The outside of this candle represents those palms.
