This St. Nicholas was carved and painted by Polish folk artist Andrzej Cichon from Kutno. Mr Cichon signs his work by carving a stylized version of his initials on the bottom of this carving. The body is carved from one block of wood (approx 16" x 6" x 2.

This St. Nicholas was carved and painted by Polish folk artist Andrzej Cichon from Kutno. Mr Cichon signs his work by carving a stylized version of his initials on the bottom of this carving. The body is carved from one block of wood (approx 16" x 6" x 2.25"). The staff is composed of two parts which are removable for shipping. St. Nicholas is holding a golden bell which is also removable for shipping. Exquisite painting and highly detailed.
