In November and December of 1998 a cultural expedition was undertaken to visit the Polish emigre communities in Brazil and Argentina. These recordings are a fascinating picture of the music preserved by the descendents of the original 19th century emigres. Much of the Polish culture has been lost and forgotten but what remains is like a time capsule from that period.
