This group is from the town of Grabownica in southeastern Poland directly south of Rzeszow. The band was formed in 1964 and today is composed of musicians and singers who perform in regional Rzeszow costumes. This is their Christmas album performed in what can be best described as "village style". The group is small (6 singers, 5 musicians) and the background instruments are typical folk (fiddle, clarinet, accordion). Two of the selections are dialogue from the traditional Polish Christmas play about King Herod. Polish language booklet enclosed with details about the band, the words to all the carols and the Herod play. The CD was recorded at Polish Radio Rzeszow in 1998.
