The area around the town of Gac is mainly rural and agricultural. Located about 26 km east of Rzeszow this town has a long history of folk music tradition. The history behind this band begins in 1908. When this recording was made the group consisted of 6 musicians and 2 singers. Record at Polish Radio Rzeszow, December 1996.
