Cossack and Russian Ethnic Songs performed by the Men's Orthodox Church Music Ensemble and conducted by Rev. Jerzy Szurbak.  This Polish choir has performed throughout Europe and knows how to render all the variety of tones and emotions of these simple and touching Cossack songs; to uncover their hidden cultural substratum - orthodoxy. Cossacks are very firmly attached to the religion of their ancestors, their art takes root from that religion, the religion defines their understanding of the world. Therefore, it is by no chance that the artists whose art is connected with the orthodox faith and music know how to sing Cossack songs in a manner fully rendering their "hidden soul".  We would like to introduce you to songs so beautiful, stirring, and close to our Polish mentality and Slav tradition.  Polish - English leaflet enclosed.
