Learn to make a traditional Palm Weaving! The class is 1.5 hours long, all materials are provided. The teacher is Sr Angelica Zajkowski, CSFN, an art/craft instructor with many years experience in administrative and teaching positions. Sister earned a B.A. in Art Education from Mercy College in Detroit, Michigan, and an M.A. in fine art from Auburn University in Alabama. Her interest in palm weaving began during childhood days when the European ancestry of her family was evident in the cultures and crafts of Poland, especially during holiday celebrations.

Sister Angelica is a member of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.  She is currently a local art and craft instructor in the Detroit/Hamtramck area as well as the Pastoral Associate of Blessed John Paul II Parish.
