Description   This VERY collectable and rare book was published in 1997 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Hamtramck's incorporation as a city.  It contains numerous photos, a history of the city and a snapshot view of Hamtramck as it was in 1997.  Only a limited number of these books are available.  80% of the proceeds of this sale will be given to the Hamtramck Historical Commission which has just begun fundraising to establish a historical museum in Hamtramck! Written to commemorate the City's 75th Anniversary, "Our Town" is a beautiful keepsake volume that takes a look back at the city's rich history.  Only 1000 copies were printed in 1979 and sold out almost immediately.  The Hamtramck Historical Commission found one unopened case this year in their archives and has agreed to release them for sale now.   Hardcover 188 pages Historic color and black and white photos Size 8.75" x 11.25" - 22cm x 28.5cm
