This album presents the work of Nikifor Krynicki, the famous Polish primitive painter. Nikifor is one of the most fascinating personalities in 20th Century European Art. Born and bred in extreme poverty, towards the end of his life he was accorded the honour of having his paintings displayed all over the world. He acquired international renown, and was exhibited in the company of works by the most distinguished contemporary Polish artists.
