The icon painting of Mary and the baby Jesus, sometimes referred to as the Black Madonna, resides in the fortified monastery of Jasna Gora (Luminous Hill) in the city of Czestochowa. This Miraculous Painting of the Mother of God was brought to Poland in 1384 by the Pauline Monks.  Mary, Queen of Poland as she is revered has been the object of pilgrimages ever since..  Beautifully hand blown and decorated with Swarovski crystals.  Created in the Edward Bar Design Studio in Krakow.
