Description   This booklet was published for people interested in folk art of the Lowicz region of Poland. In the year 2003-2004, the Lowicz Museum and Polish Educational and Cultural Foundation promoted a Wycinanki competition.  45 participants (local folk artists, amateurs), 10 area schools, and two institutions participated in the competition, generating a total of 265 paper cut-outs.  This booklet illustrates the top 28 examples of the after-competition exhibition that took place.   Each paper cut-out was made the traditional way and each is unique and original.
