Legends of Poland Series
We have looked far and wide for original Polish legends in English and we have finally found a collection from Krakow. What caught our eye (besides the stories) are the lovely color illustrations in a medieval format.
To honor the memory of fallen heroes to a Tatar invasion the merchants of Cracow contribute funds to found a great bell. Why the bell cracks is the mystery. |
