Long forgotten is a graceful folk music played with the spirit from the "Old Country". Nearly 100 years ago Gary Sredzienski's relatives worked the tobacco farms and factories of the lower Connecticut River valley. On weekends people gathered together for a house party with music provided by and accordian and violin. This style of early Polish American folk music is referred to by the old-timers as "Po starem krajsku"....meaning "from the Old Country".
