The tradition of having foods for the Easter meal blessed on Holy Saturday is practiced in Poland and in the US. In Poland a wicker basket is filled with a sampling of the Easter meal, covered with a pure white cover and taken to church to be blessed.

Our Easter basket covers come from the Tatry mountain region of southern Poland. Beautifully hand cut and had stitched.  Patterns vary.
