This internationally critically acclaimed and award-winning film combines a children's adventure story with the look and feel of Lawrence of Arabia.  At the end of the 19th century two kids -- children of engineers working on the Suez Canal -- are kidnapped in the heart of the African continent.  The children manage to escape from the hands of their captors along with two African children and embark on a journey across the harsh yet breathtakingly beautiful African landscape.  Their great adventure is full of obstacles, dangers, and fun as they learn about life on their quest to return home.
